One of the greatest things about being a member of the Gotham Tribe is the opportunity you have for utilizing your skills to create events that everyone can enjoy. Things like the Golf Outing, the Battle of the Bands, Highline Tours, were all created out of members ideas and their collaboration. These celebrations have been wonderful times for all those who have been fortunate enough to attend.
OK so I'm about to blog on the guy who got robbed and wanted to pay for their college, and I come across this article.  I really just don't know what to make of it.  I will lift some quick lines to give you a little "back" ground ;)     Title of article:  Businesses Cash In As Women Chase Bigger Butts
We used to be big Jay Leno fans. Tonight Show regulars. When Jimmy Fallon took over earlier this year, we were concerned. Jimmy was funny, but could he fill the large shoes that came before him – at least in our humble opinions? Rumors had it that Jay had been forced out (really twice) and that his appeal to large audiences was fading but not in my house.
I read an article last Sunday in The Times that started like this, “I met my spouse the old fashioned way, I read her profile online, no pics, exchanged a few emails and then met for a drink. No Tinder or OKCupid.”
There are only two times during the bicycle riding season that I stop often to rest -- the first half and the second half.
So I'm traveling to Buffalo last night to visit my Mother-in-law for her birthday. I get on the plane and as we are taxiing on the ground I stow my phone in the seat back in front of me. Just after we take off I notice the faint glow of my phone and wonder why. I pick it up and see that an unknown caller left a message. Out of curiosity, I click the message to see if it I can hear it. It's Lifeline, they are calling me because my mother needs assistance.   35,000 feet in the air and I'm looking around thinking there's nothing I can do hoping my Mom is okay.
When I was a boy my only area of reading interest was sports books and the Encyclopedia of Baseball ( for memorization). Only with the advent of audio books did I slowly catch up on fine literature.  When my boys were growing up I indoctrinated them pretty well as to sports, bought them Baseball cards and coached them. Now I have 2 grandsons and the youngest, 8, has become consumed with Baseball in his first year of Little League. He lives nearby and whenever he visits he is always asking me to throw batting practice to him as he works on his game.
It’s not every day that a new species of frog is discovered -- especially in New York City. And it’s not everyone who is related to the person who discovers a new species. So we’re proud of Jeremy and “Rana Kauffeldi”. (There’s some really great coverage -- and cute pictures -- on this discovery. Just google new NYC frog.)
