If you know me at all, you know that I am not a football fan. Sure, I enjoy the experience – mostly the food and the company. I also enjoy the commercials. This year felt as if fewer commercials grabbed me -- but there were a few.

Some of my favorites:

Indeed.com: Particularly given the current high rates of unemployment and so many people in the market for new jobs, I thought this ad hit just the right tone.

Tide: The Jason Alexander hoodie was simply hilarious.

Doritos: Flat Stanley was a regular visitor to my house when the kids were young, so #FlatMatthew was a particular favorite.

Rocket Mortgage: The “pretty sure” theme was pretty funny.

Toyota: Really, how could any commercial top this one featuring the story of swimmer Jessica Long, pulling at every heartstring I own?
